What stupid questions have you received from your coworkers recently?
Here's a sample conversation I had with a colleague last week:
Bimbo: I can't log into my internet banking account. Why can't I do that?
Me: (this has nothing to do with my job) I'm really not sure. Why don't you call your bank?
Bimbo: (launches into a long winded story about how she used to be able to do internet banking and now she can't, and then launches into another story about a friend of a friend of a friend whose account disappeared while doing online banking )
Me: I really don't know. Why don't you call your bank and find out?
Bimbo: (continues her saga of how she's tried several times to log in without success). Why can't I login in?
Me: Why don't you call the bank?
Bimbo: Do you know their phone number?

Sun, March 12, 2006 - 10:21 PMYes, it is - and lazy too. What she was really wanted was for me to fix the problem for her, or at least look up the bank's phone number for me so she wouldn't have to do it herself.
