Ok, so I'm about to lose my mind. I've been listening to this guy on the other side of the cube wall WHISTLING for about a month or so and I can't take it anymore! (Sometimes he sings, too.) What should I do? Any ideas??

Wed, February 15, 2006 - 9:07 AMHave you tried talking to him? If you explain that the sounds are distracting I'm sure he would understand. -

Fri, February 17, 2006 - 4:13 PMYou guys are way too reasonable. I was hoping for some funny things I wouldn't *really* do just to give me a laugh and put me in a better mood. ;-)
I don't actually know the guy, so I'm a little scared to say something. I mean, what if I'm doing something that annoys him?? (Like, I don't know... breathing or something....) -

Re: Need advice - what to do about the WHISTLER
Sat, February 18, 2006 - 8:18 AMThe guy on the other side of my cube would often shake, not rock, his desk with his knee while listening to his music which would shake my side - quite distracting. I went over and mentioned that he must be listening to something really good because he sure was rockin. He was surprised that it affected someone else and he said he'd be more conscious about it. Every once in a while he'll slip; I'll start pushing on the wall of our cube and he stops.
